I am on my second Storm2, as I purchased my first one the day it came out, October 28 and had to get it exchanged about 2 weeks later because the screen would turn "static-like" as I have also figured that it is most likely a software bug as it also does it on the replacement. I have noticed, on my second one, that if I receive a lot of texts at once, it will vibrate normally, then vibrate constantly for about 20 seconds, then reset (this has happened about every other day so far). It also freezes and locks up on a normal basis of about 2 times a day, which requires a battery pull, of course. The screen's click feature also becomes unresponsive at times and takes about 30 seconds to respond again. If anyone has any comments, tips or answers on why it is doing this, please, feel free to respond. Thank you so much!

Get exchange again until you get a unit that works right. Could be the too small battery causing it also.

I wonder have you added any applications since getting the phone? Almost sounds like a memory issue.

Ok do this, open the Browser, then ckick BB Menu button, then options, then scroll down to Cache operations, then click it and push every line in there including the first one "Clear History" when you have done all that, then click the back out or U-Turn button next to the red phone icon and then see what happens to your freezing up.
