What email account are you trying to cancel? And if you've upgraded to an iPhone, and the BB was/is the same phone line, it's now inactive and won't connect-you can't have more than one phone on the same line at the same time.

Finally I have been resolved this issue successfully. This problem is not from Blackberry, this issue from Microsoft end. Microsoft technical support team misguided me initially.
By using Windows Poweshell script I have deleted Tim's blackberry forwarding email account .

Thanks for the update. (Though I am still confused, but that's OK as long as you are satisfied the issue is resolved!!)

I had a copy of my email being forwarded to my vzw account...Not through BeS. from the exchange. When I changed my phone, the rule was still in effect. Verizon Wireless couldn't cancel my email b/c it didn't exist which is why I got undeliverable messages. Our IT guy deleted the rule which stopped the forwards. SMS!

OK--thanks for the clarification. Technically you didn't want to cancel an email account, but the forwarding instructions that were sending to an account that no longer exists ... glad you got it all sorted!

I know your problem has been resolved, but to answer the question about deleting BB vzw email accounts for those moving to other platforms: you can always re-activate your BB online, temporarily, and make any changes to your vzw email accounts and then re-activate your new device. It's fairly easy to do.
