BlackBerry new OS and Enhanced Gmail Plug-In

Wondering if anyone knows whether or not it is possible to upgrade the OS but get rid of the Enhanced Gmail Plug-In.  I hate how my email from my google account appear on my phone... with the threaded messaging, like messages grouped into one conversation that only says "# Items" and the subject line... I liked it better on the old OS where it had all of your sent and received mail all in one place.  I can't even find my sent email. 

 

Any help greatly appreciated if you can.

Try the Gmail App for the BB.  I like this a lot better than just setting up the email through BIS for the phone.  You gain functionality of Gmail in this app.

I don't have a direct link for you to the gmail app but if you go to m.gmail.com on your phone and then right at the top is a link that says "Get Faster Gmail" and it takes you to the app download.  That should take care of it for you.
