This is my first post so if I put this is in the wrong area please move.
A couple of months back when Verizon decided to end it's relationship with Yahoo my home e-mail(Verizon.net acct.) suddenly stopped pushing to my BlackBerry. After a few waste of time calls to CS the problem did not get corrected. They basically told me there was nothing they could do. I also called my carrier, (US Cellular) and they told me that the problem was on Verizon's end. At that point I pretty much gave up and then about a week later the e-mails suddenly started coming again.
Now since the e-mail problem in late June I'm not receiving them again. I received a message from my carrier when the problem started that said there was a password issue. My area is part of the Frontier changeover so I suspect this might have something to do with that.
Anyone else having this problem? If so have you found a remedy??

UPDATE.
For the heck of it I went to the US Cellular/BlackBerry e-mail set up website and it showed that my Verizon account needed to be validated with my pass code. I entered my pass code and bingo all of the e-mails started coming through again. Apparently the outage that occurred a couple of weeks ago caused some type of a lock up that re-entering the pass code fixed, at least for now.
Morgan thanks for your input. I should have checked the account online but I thought there was something else going on.

I suggest do a back up on your device then perform a hard reset. After reset is complete, re-setup your email. If you will let us know what device you have, I will be glad to give you the specific steps.
HTH,
It is a BlackBerry 8330 Curve, CDMA/US Cellular.
I 've already done a few hard re-sets and back ups. I have not checked my e-mail settings but the last time this happened it started working again on it's own so I don't think it's the settings on the device. I use Windows Mail at home for this account. Has anything changed with the settings for that? Incoming, outgoing server address's or anything else? Like I said in the original post I' am in one of the Frontier conversion areas(Wis.).
