Blackberry 8703e OS

Hello,

I'm looking into upgrading to a Blackberry for a couple reasons, but mainly to be able to access Lexicomp PDA software on my phone. The software requires a Blackberry OS of 5.0 for the stored version and 4.1 or later for the wifi version.

I was wondering what OS the 8703e is currently up to? If it's not 5.0, are there other Blackberry phones that do have an OS of 5.0? I would prefer using the stored version but 8703e is cheaper which is a definite plus.

The OS for the Blackberry 8703e is currently v4.2
