Blackberry Charging Pod

Hi, all,

I was thinking about getting a charging pod to place at my bedside for my Tour.  I know charging pods are available for most all Blackberry devices.  I was wondering if any of you use one on your Blackberry and what your thoughts are on how it works.  Do you like it or was it a waste of money for you?

Yes Doc I have one and love it. It allows one to keep phone charged overnight and to constantly show clock in bedside mode at reduced lighting.  It looks like an analog clock on the bedside table and when the alarm goes ogg you can reach it to snooze or turn off with out it flying off the table.  I think I bought mine on Amazon, but put in your browser, the model you want and do a search fo,r mine was like $10 and it is an OEM Blackberry one and I bought the magnetic BB OEM carry case on there at the same time.

Here it is:

Amazon.com items (Sold by Amazon.com, LLC):

   1  BlackBerry Desktop Charge/...   $14.99               1   $14.99

   1  BlackBerry Leather Horizon...   $11.66               1   $11.66

Shipped via USPS

I've heard good things but I don't own one. The best thig about them I would imagine would be that you wouldn't wear out the ever so fragile micro-usb port on the BB by plugging and unplugging it.. I have heard people complain that the light on the POD is VERY bright. I will probably be getting one for my Tour though.
