Blackberry Email Down

I sat next to someone who has a Blackberry with Sprint and her email is up.  I am in a suburb of Boston. Anyone have any information about when email will come back?

Saw the question posted regarding email is down,, still do not understand what the problem is, should it be working now or is it still down? (mine is not working presently..stopped early yesterday (thursday) morning as did I guess everyone else. thanks for any assist!
