None of the store reps I have spoken to know anything about the Passport. The latest rumor is that Passport will be an AT&T exclusive in the U.S. and Verizon will have the exclusive on the Classic. Personally I'd much prefer the beastly Passport to the Classic.
Another possibility is that the Passport on Verizon mirrors the Z30 launch. The Z30 did a global launch on GSM carriers but still came to Verizon a month and a half later. That would put the Verizon Passport at a mid- to late-November launch. Fingers crossed!!!

I apologize that we have not yet been provided with a confirmation or release date regarding the offering of this device at this time. However, you can stay tuned right here: http://bit.ly/n5snpq

Never a straight answer from Verizon. I do know once the white #Passport drops and it doesn't work on this network, I will be moving all 4 of my lines to a carrier that has it.

CasAries, we hope that you reconsider your decision to move your family to another wireless carrier and allow us to continue as your provider. Have you seen the currently offered Blackberry devices on our network? http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/device/smartphone

That would be at&t since they are the exclusive carrier of that device. Don't blame Verizon for not having it blame Blackberry
At&t seems content spending money on exclusive deals while Verizon prefers to spend money on making a better network.

maddy602 It looks as though AT&T has a lock on this device. For how long...who knows but the rumors all over the net points to AT&T being the only one getting it out the gate. May want to venture over there and check it out as I wouldn't count on VZW having it any time soon.
