Step 1 – Complete a soft reset. Instructions below:
-Pull the battery out of the device (pulling the battery while the device is on or off does not matter)
-Leave it out for 2 ½ minutes.
-Place the battery back in
Step 2 –Try to load a backup file. (Blackberry desktop manager is needed).
Step 3 – Complete a clean install.
Step 4 – If steps 2 or 3 could not be completed, or did not work, a hard reset would be recommended.
