Blackberry sends texts to several people even if I just enter one name

I enter one of my daughters to get a text. For some reason the phone decides I want to send it to all of my daughters.  (In the past, i've had some texts that I've chosen to send to all three of them.)

Been through the options, can't figure it out. How can I send to only one person?

It may be pulling up your most recent conversation when you type in the name. Can you see all the names and remove the ones you don't want? Then the next time you initiate a text it will go to just the one daughter....

I can understand you wanting to only want to send text messages to one daughter, especially when your discussing who the favorite is.  Let's see if we can get you back up and running.

It seems as if the phone is pulling from a previous group message you have sent.  Is it still in your text messaging thread? Let's try what SuzyQ suggested and deleting that thread and trying to send a text message again.
