Hi,
It is the same. Both devices have WiFi. I use it on my Bold at home. I have a home WiFi network setup and surf the web on my device at home via WiFi. It is a lot faster that surfing on the 3G Network, at least it is for me.

Same for me too Doc. My home wireless runs probably twice as fast as 3G in my area. 3G is good backup though when not around WIFI.
