Bold 9930 keeps freezing up and shutting down

My 1 1/2 month old BB Bold phone started acting up about two weeks ago.  It would freeze up and the only button that would do anything is the screen lock button.  Pushing that will bring up the screen, but none of the other buttons would do anything and I can't go any further than that.  I had to remove the battery and do a hard boot, and that seemed to fix it.  In the last few days, its gotten worse and its happening 2-3 times a day, and removing the battery isn't always bringing it back.  The "Blackberry" screen will come on and the little timeline would show at the bottom, but about halfway to full, it would just shutdown and then that screen would come back on and it would just continue to do that. 

I took it to a store, but they weren't able to figure it out.  It has a full charge and the software is up to date.  Because this is a reburbed phone, I can't return it.

Any ideas?

Hello John,

The issue with my phone is it freezes up at random times.  I'll check it and the only button that will work is the Screen Lock button.  That will bring the screen back up, but nothing will open, and nothing works.  I have to take the battery out for a few minutes.  It'll then boot back up, and the "Blackberry" screen with the boot line (?) running across the bottom will come on.  That line gets about halfway across the screen and it'll shut off again.  Then, the same screen will come up and it'll try to reboot.  This will take 2-3 attempts before it actually boots all the way up. 

This is now happening a couple times a day, and I've had the phone for under 2 months.
