I upgraded to the 6.0 OS and now I can't send mms messages. Is there a way to fix this or just got back to the old OS? Thanks

Hi,
Ever since RIM sent out the OS 6 upgrade, the MMS feature is integraded with the SMS. In other words, when you go into the messages folder and press the menu key and look, you only see SMS listed along with email and PIN. To send a MMS message in OS 6, just select SMS and attach the picture or video and it will send as a MMS message. The OS 6 will change the SMS to MMS automatically. I wish they would put the MMS selection back into the menu, but it will send MMS if you select SMS and attach a file. Hope this helps,
Doc
Ps, if you do want to downgrade back to OS 5, go to Crackberry.com and look at their tutorials for downgrading. It is easy, but takes a little time.
Did you use crunch sms? it is not supported on 6.0
Go to your firewall settings, and make sure the mms/sms aren't blocked
I did until the 6.0 upgrade. I don't even have the option to send a MMS. I can only send text, instant message, e-mail, social feeds post, twitter and facebook. No MMS, its not an option anymore.
my roomate had similiar issues.. are you sure your firewall settings are fine? Type in firewall into search and open that up, make sure nothing is getting blocked..if not call tech support but it sounds like that is the issue
I just re-checked the firewall and nothing is being blocked. I will go to a Verizon store tomorrow and see they can figure it out for me. Thanks for your help...

Thank you Doc.
You are the first person who told me what they did, and I wish they would seperate them as well I prefered to just send a pic using MMS instead of now having to attach the pic from a text.... Thank you again for helping me solve this..
