Can anybody tell me why the CPO Bold doesn't come with the Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, or YouTube app's.
Also much do they cost to get them if I choose to go with the CPO Bold phone.
Thanks

Apps for all of those are available for free at Blackberry App World.
As to why they don't come pre-loaded, maybe because not everyone wants social networking sites on their smart phone (especially for businesses). The fact that they are free supports that they are popular OPTIONAL applications that can be easily added if the user chooses.

Then the phones that don't have them get comments like yours...why aren't they there?!?
IMHO, it's better that they are NOT there, and you can choose what to add; the apps are free and you can customize which ones you have and use.
PS - Have fun with the Bold - I bought a CPO Bold in January and I'm pretty happy with it.

Seems you can't please everyone ... those phones that DO come pre-loaded with apps get complaints from folks who don't want them, and wonder why they are FORCED to have them.

Just what I thought when I first read this thread SuzyQ.
I would guess the reason these apps are not pre-loaded is because they are non-revenue generating for both the developer and for Verizon. They are all really just fancy links to websites. LOL
