Can't play my downloaded music from old phone

I'm a fairly new owner of a Blackberry, and I used to have a Dare.  When I had my Dare,  I downloaded songs from VZW and saved them to my card, hoping that I would be able to just switch the card over to the BB and play my music while I was at work.

I was wrong.

When I try to play my music, I get an error on my screen saying that I don't have the rights to play them, and that I would have to sync my computer to my BB.  Not to sound like a complete **bleep**, but I can't find anything in my manual about it, and I don't want to accidently erase all of my music from my card, since there's almost 300 songs.

Does anyone know what I need to do?

Thanks so much in advance!

You have to specify what type of Blackberry you have, what OS is on your Blackberry, and how many GBs is the media card, you have from Dare phone.:smileywink:

I have an 8530 Curve that was purchased about 3 months ago, I have a 2GB media card, and I can't tell you what the OS is on the Blackberry because I have no idea what you mean. Sorry!

Hi,

On your device, find Options and select About.  It will display your operating system which should be something like 4.5.0.138.

I have a few listed, but it's hopefully one of the two:

5.0.0.508 or

3.0.1.190

Which Blackberry device do you have?  The device has to be V cast capable.
