Ever since I've upgraded I cannot synch my address book from Outlook 2010 to my Blackberry 8530. In the Blackberry Desktop Software application under Organizer the Address Book indicates Not Installed. It was installed before the upgrade and I was able to synch everything fine.
What can I do to fix this?

How long have you been running 5.0.0.973? I show that OS for the Storm1.

Hi,
The 5.0.0.973 OS was officially released for the 8530 about a month ago. There were several unofficial leaks released, among those were for the Storm 1. Verizon never released an official OS since a little over a year ago. Anyways, it sounds like the settings for syncing have been altered or removed. I suggest going back into Blackberry Desktop Manager and reconfiguring the sync settings again. Also, reboot your device by pulling the battery and then try resyncing your device.

Several months ago I upgraded the Blackberry Deskstop Manager which I use to manage my outlook data which is the reason I have a blackberry phone. It's possible I also upgraded my Curve 8530 near or at the same time but now the manager says the address book is "not installed." Even though I went back in and even did a "reset" and setup all the data areas including the address book, it still says "not installed" when I do the sync. I've had this problem for months and haven't been able to get a fix. I'm very frustrated with BB now.
