Just upgraded and received new Q10 from being an iPhone user.
I can send texts but can not receive them from my contacts. I have already deregistered my number from being identified as a iPhone. What next?

As it turns out, the problem was with one iPhone user, which happened to be the one that I was using as my "test" to be able to receive text messages from. Previously, I was a iPhone user, and she just needed to clear my message history so that her phone would recognize me a a non-iPhone. Figured this out later when deciding to "test" with other contacts that were iPhone users, which worked fine.
Thanks for your help.

mobleydrew,
I hope that you are loving your new phone, other than this slight texting concern. I would love to look further into this for you. Do you still have the iPhone on? Do you still have iMessages turned to on, on the iPhone? Is this from all contacts, or just contacts that happen to have iPhones? Please share these additional details. Thank you.
