Contacts Linking in error!

Has anyone every had trouble with info linking between contacts? (e.g., john doe's name shows up, but somehow it is sally sue who's calling--the numbers have been linked between the contacts)

We want you contacts to appear as they should. Have the contacts always been linked? Are your Facebook contacts link to your device contact list? Please go to Contacts app>Open contact>Tap on links (at the bottom)>Choose "Unlink".

I had this problem on both my Z10 and Q10.

First, update your software. If you're using and older version of BB10 software there are all kinds of bugs. 10.2.1 is a must.

Second, use only one cloud source for syncing. And by no means, no how/no way, should you use Verizon's Backup Plus.

Third, once you have updated to 10.2.1 (or later) you will have to backup and then wipe/restore your BlackBerry to factory settings. Then set it up as a new BlackBerry.

These steps cured the problem for me. Pain in the arse but it works.
