Duplicate Contact! :(

I used the backup assistant today and now I have many many duplicate contacts. IS there a restore point feature that I can use to go back to BEFORE the backup? How can I get rid of the duplicates easily? I have over 800 contacts now because of the duplicates. If I delete them online, will it delete from my phone and vice versa?

Please help.

Hi PaperChase!

I understand your frustration when it comes to duplicate contacts. We have so many ways to back up that data, and it's so important. I would be apprehensive to delete anything either.
I've reviewed this for you, and I would recommend checking the Blackberry App World and doing a search for "Duplicate" or "Duplicate Contacts" and see if there is an application that corrects this for you.
