I have the Env2. I've had it for a little under a year now.
It likes to turn off on me when i'm in the middle of texting or taking a picture. It turns off often but it also stays on most of the time. Pretty much all of the front buttons no longer work.
I've got unlimited texting and a 1400 minute per month plan but it is shared with 3 family members. Thats all I really know about the plan. I've got insurance on it so I was just wondering if I could upgrade to the Blackberry 8530, or would there be a problem in doing that? Is there only certain phones you can upgrade to if you can at all?
That's a issue that is affecting every LG phone since the VX8300 and when the issue gets worst you phone becomes useless. I'm surprised LG still hasn't fixed this issue. If you upgrade to any blackberry/smartphone you will require to pay extra $30/month for Web/Email.

I haven't had any problems with my Env2 shutting off. ::knocks on wood:: Just the keys on the front don't work,but not a really big deal as long as keyboard works. $30 is not bad for a data plan.you get what you pay for.
