HELP VZ Navigator probelm on 8830

I just got the VZ Navigator - luke warm about it.   Problem:  When I start a route, I get voice directions but only for a few turns, then it stops.  Can get it if I push the talk button, but not otherwise. If I close and start over again, I again get voice prompts, but only for a short while.  HELP?

Have you tried changing voices? Go to VZ Navigator Main Menu> Click the Blackberry Key, Preferences, Audio, Select a different voice from Michelle and give it a try!

 

If it is still happening Go to VZ Navigator Main Menu> Click the Blackberry Key> Sync with Web> Then go to Preferences> Master Clear and relaunch VZ Navigator and try it again after it reloads!
