HELP!!!!

i have a blackberry tour and somehow i am now doing a "wireless software update" on my phone......i can't use my phone anymore while it's updating and it is ridiculously slow......HOW DO I CANCEL THIS UPDATE?! i have tried turning off my phone and taking out the battery. neither works.

STOP TURNING YOUR PHONE OFF DURING THE UPGRADE!! You can seriously screw up your phone if you do. The update will take about 1.5 to 2 hours to do, so you'll just have to live without for a bit.
