I have turned it off, taken out the battery and nothing seems to work, Taking out the battery used to work on my older Blackberry. I am out of town and am desperate to unlock my phone. Thanks!
I would tend to think that entering the letters is the same as what you stated earlier. Difference is that you may have inadvertently selected a setting that now allows you to be able to see the letters that are being entered in to the device for password unlock.
Exactly which BlackBerry device do you have and do you know which operating system is loaded onto that device?
