How do I get rid of My Verizon app?

My Storm keeps rebooting about every 2 hours. This started happening today, right after I noticed the "My Verizon" app had been pushed to it. How do I remove this app and hopefully fix my phone? Also, does anybody know if there is a way to block Verizon from pushing apps to my phone? I'd rather just download what I need.

It's not really an application. It's just the link for the application. So it's not actually installed on your device. And you can't really get rid of it, just like the icon for Slacker radio. All you can do is hide the icon so you don't see it. And no, there's no way to block VZW from pushing out these links. The space they take up is minimal, 10-20 kilobytes maybe.
