How do I set up corporate email without Enterprise Mobility Management?

I've tried multiple times to setup my work email without success. My company's email server is a standard MS Exchange server and when I try running  MS ActiveSync I'm not connecting. Any ideas of workarounds?

Mine are set up, username must match email, I would contact your it department. They may use specific ports?
