How do I turn off auto word suggestion feature on the storm2

I am a fan of Blackberry (own a Bold myself) and I just recently purchased my wife a Storm2 for mothers day.  She loves it, but finds the auto word suggestion feature extremely annoying.  I've looked every where in attempts to turn this off, but nothing I've tried has worked.

Can someone tell me how to turn this off?

You want to turn off predictive text.  It is done by doing the following:

  1. On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, select Options > Language and Input Text.
  2. For Input Style, select Auto Correction.
  3. Select Show Text Input Options.
  4. Under the heading Learn Words From Email Messages, select Off.
  5. Uncheck Predictive
  6. Press the menu button and select Save.
  7. On the Language and Input Text screen, press the menu button, and select Save.

Hope this helps,
