Just wondering if anyone has the Verizon Support & Protection app on their Q10's and how did you get it on there since it's not available in BlackBerry World?? I tried to download off the browser site, but that's virtually impossible since it's not a native app. It's kind of weird to have the "My Verizon Mobile" and "Backup Plus Contacts" apps on the Q10 and not be able to download the Verizon Support & Protection app. Thanks for any info.

Nevermind about answering this. I removed the Insurance Protection since you can't put the app on a Blackberry. I use BlackBerry Protection link anyhow. It's pretty useless to have Verizon Insurance Protection plan when you can't even run the app on your BB phone. Anyhow, it's a BlackBerry, and nobody is stealing them because nobody likes them (thank goodness)!!

It's not available in the BlackBerry World App Store. In my OP, I had stated that it wasn't available in BB World. It's available in iOS and Google Play, but not BlackBerry World. I tried downloading off the Verizon website, but that was a no go, since it's not a native app. Talked with someone on Verizon Chat and he said it was left up to the "higher than him big wigs." That will fix it....said no one ever!!!! Like totally (((???))). Thank-you for responding though. I really didn't think anybody would.

You can load Android apps on BB10 BlackBerrys. You can even install the Google Play Store. Not all apps run perfectly on the Q10 because of it's screen size/shape, but I loaded a bunch of Android apps and they all functioned.

Thank-you for the info. I already knew that, but won't be installing a non-native app along with the Google Play Store, as that's not exactly fool-proof yet. I've had several Google app's on my phone that turned into a total fail and were inoperable....not because of screen size, but because they just wouldn't work properly. I've done several attempts to download (see OP), but that was a fail too. My third OP has my solution that I did, but apparently you didn't read it. Thank-you.
