I received as a gift a blackberry pink pearl smartphone. I have a 2 part question. Can I transfer my existing verizon wireless plan to this phone??. It is a very basic plan .....I really just use it to make and receive calls. Do I have to change to a more expensive plan or an additional plan to use the blackberry?? I have right now a 500 minute plan with an aditional line for 50.00 a month.

You will need to add a data plan in order to put the Pearl onto your account. If you are only using it for personal email then go with the $29.99 email and web plan.
