You will need a Verizon SIM card. As far as more help, you may want to tell us what BlackBerry model you purchased.

Yes, you need a 4G SIM card for all Verizon 4G phones. A Verizon store will be able to set you up in about 5 minutes. You might have to pay for the SIM card though, normally about $20.

SIM cards are free at Corporate Verizon stores or by calling Customer Service; retailers usually charge for them.
