WILL SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME TO BETTER UNDERSTAND HOW CAN I  CONNECT TO THE INTERNET FROM MY HOME COMPUTER USING ONLY MY CEL PHONE AS THE INTERNET CONNECTION. IS THIS POSSIBLE? IF SO, CAN YOU TELL ME HOW TO CONNECT IT? FOR INSTANCE IS IT A CABLE, OR SOMETHING DIFFERENT. AND WHAT PHONE WOULD I NEED TO PURCHASE TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS?????

I believe the word you're looking for is tethering. It enables your phone to act as a internet source for your computer. It should be able to be done with your USB cable, and the proper plan to do so. You can't just start tethering on your phone, you'll need an actual plan with a 5GB cap on it I believe.

supitsmike is right! The feature you are looking for is tethering. Tethering is using a mobile device to supply internet access for another device,such as a laptop or PC, using the mobile device as a modem. This can be done through bluetooth wireless technology or usb cables. In order for a mobile device to have the ability to tether, it must be mobile broadband connect capable. Under the features for the phones online, you should see "mobile broadband connect capable" if the device has the ability to tether. There are quite a few phones with this ability.
