My Blackberry bold will not connect to my email after a password change.

I had to change my Comcast.net account password today for my email.  After trying to updating numerous times I cannot get my blackberry bold to accept the new password and I can no longer receive email on my phone.  I've been all over the internet looking for ways to fix the problem with no success.  Can anyone help me?????

Have you  removed the email account from the phone?  Remove it - then restart the phone.  Then set up the email as a new account.

Have you gone into advanced settings and tried different port #'s for the incoming and outgoing mail servers?  They may need to be different than the default settings on the phone. Also, double check the incoming and outgoing servers.  Are you using POP or IMAP?
