Any advice would be helpful all of my years I have never had to deal with this.
I have had my curve since June of 09, around Aug. The battery was running out every 4 hours. I went in mid September they tried to tell me I was probably using it in different places, or that there towers have been moved, I told them no Nothing had changed so they sent me a new battery. This battery did the same thing so it must be the phone. I went in and they guy ordered a phone. Got the phone, used the new battery, samething. So frustrated, it takes so long to re do my phone every time. Back in AGAIN this guy ordered another phone, yeah battery is holding a charge, but people can't hear me and keep asking me to repeat myself because I keep cutting out. I also cannot heat them, it is very choppy. When I go to answer the phone I say hello 3 times before I hear the other person. I still have a year and a half with this phone, HELP. I loved the phone before all this.

Allesha, I had almost the same problem and it seemed to coincide with the Alltel merger. Mine started in July and I have had a Texas only plan 1000 min. for $49 since 02.( I never leave TX so why do I need a nationwide plan)? I had a Nokia 6236i that I loved. Car cradle with car system and my rear window antenna carry, case 3 extra batteries I never needed, and then in July I went thru battery being sucked dry. Swapped bat. didn't help I bought a replacement from Verizon at the Customer service advice, same phone for $50 plus 3 batteries off eBay, still had problem, plus not getting calls. Tower was 1 mile from my home and my calls went to voice mail phone never rang. I had at least 3 trouble tickets opened. They never could fix me and basically T was told if I wanted to leave their would be no early term fee. What I have been with them since 02 and this is the answer I get. Finally i gave in with the guarantee I could have my old plan back if I was not happy with the Nationwide plan. I reduced to 450min, I was not using the 1000 minutes. I got a BB Storm for free. I am paying $19 a month more now and have excellent coverage. Oh I went to Verizon store and had my Nokia checked out and re sent the codes etc. So I am happy with new plan. I would get them to open a trouble ticket you need to speak with a CS supervisor. I would get another new phone but have the CS check it out for you. Call the 800# from a different phone. My first BB Storm had terrible voice. My wife said I sounded like I was talking thru mud. Daughter in Houston couldn't hear me. CS Rep had me back up phone with desktop software and wipe phone and re install and same thing. So I went and got another BB Storm phone and all is fine now. I probably have the best reception I have ever had. I finally went out of TX flying to Bermuda 2 weeks ago for my daughters wedding and used phone in Atlanta airport to speak with driver in Houston who was meeting our plane to let him know it was delayed an hour.

How long did it take after you called CS and opened a ticket? Did you have to return to a Verizon store or did they do it all over the phone? I just feel like such a complainer, but I do not want to be stuck with a phone that has a problem for the next year and a half.

I was told by a friend there is a hybrid PRL that can be sent to your phone. Not sure if it is true. I would ask CS
