Need Help with Blackberry activation

I currently have a Samsung Intensity and there is an unactivated Blackberry lying around. It is the Blackberry Curve 8330 model. What I was wondering was if I could activate as my line (Im willing to pay for the data fees). I just wanted to check because I have gotten yes and no answers.

P.S. It is a Verizon phone.

I appreciate any help I get.

Hi,

You can activate your phone yourself by logging into My Verizon on your computer.  The link is at the top of this page.  If you don't want to do that, you can call customer service and they can do it for you.
