Bill, I have only had one serious problem with my Storm and that was my voice on phone calls sounded muddy. VZW exchanged it immediately,with a brand new phone in the box.  I was in my first 30 days. They set up the new one for me. After the OS update, I only have one problem, which is getting the keyboard to open in landscape mode on home page. I have found a way to open it in portrait mode by very carefully pushing the " / " /  then BB Menu.

This is the procedure to clear logs, to help clear more memory. I am sure if it is never done, it wouldn't be the end all. I am sorry so many have had problems after the upgrade, but a lot is incompatible Apps after OS upgrade. I had to dump my Theme, and I dumped Slacker Radio because of a memory leak and I never really used it.  I prefer Pandora. Slacker actually has commercials that run in it, and I HATE commercials!!!. I happen to like my Storm and it does all it is suppose to.
