Notification that is new to me....

On the home screen of my Blackberry Tour,  I have a small circle, with a down pointing arrow inside of it. On the outside left of the circle is a 1.  In the upper right of the circle, is a red circle with a white star in it.  This is all located at the top of the screen where I get notices of texts, skype messages, etc.  Does anyone know what this is and how I can access this?  Thanks

I believe the icon you are describing is a notification of an update to Blackberry App World.  You can go into Blackberry App World to check and see if that is where the notification is coming from.  Hope this helps.
