Verizon had a buy a BB get another one free. I would look at that. Do a family plan, data unlimited for each will be $30 a month plus whatever minutes you want. You can block text which I have done,(not in to texting either) and have up to 10 email accounts go to your phone. If you see yourselves going over your min limit you can call Verizon and have them up your plan to the next min plan for that bill and then once it bills lower it back down. Very flexible!

What it really comes down to is would you be willing, and financially able, to commit to $30 a month for each device for the data plan? With the lowest family share plan at 700 minutes you're looking at a minimum of $129.99 for both lines.
A Blackberry is, hands down, the best way to get email on the go. RIM is unrivaled in their email capability. Web browsing is decent, but can leave a lot to be desired for some people.
The Blackberry Tour comes with a 2GB memory card, the Storm comes with an 8GB. Both can take up to a 16GB memory card. So you'll have plenty of space for music, photos, docuements and video. Both devices can be used as removeable memory for your PC, so it can effectively replace a USB flash drive.
A lot of people have reported that the call quality on the Tour is not so great. Personally, I haven't had any issues so far. Calls are crisp & clear and the volume is plenty loud.
If you use email and web a lot while you're out and about, you will not be disappointed in a Blackberry.

My wife and I both have BB's. Text, photos and emailing is fine. But if you're going to surf the web. It's slow. Or perhaps I'm doing it wrong. Have someone at a brick and mortar demo the web features before you buy. All in it's 205.00 a month for us.
Best, P
