OS Software Update requires updating all applications

Is there a way of updating the blackberry OS without having to update most of the applications on the phone after the update?  I get notified that my blackberry OS has a new upgrade.  I go through the update procedures without any problems.  After the update, the first time I use most of the applications on the phone (google mobile, upvise, weatherbug, viigo, poynt etc...) I have to enter my username/pw or reset the settings etc...  Is there a way to update the phone OS without having to go through the app update process each time?  Thanks.

Hi,

To answer your question, no, you have to re-register your applications.  It is a pain, so always make sure you write down your serial numbers and keys to applications.
