Owner's name on home screen

Does anyone know how to get your name to display on your homescreen in the Storm 2?

You mean change the banner?  Usually you just go into settings-->display-->banner-->personal banner-->type your name-->save

Thanks Steve....I tried that and my name still does not appear on the homescreen.  I know that in the Storm 1 and Storm 2 we are able to list the owner and then it displays after you lock your phone.  for some reason or other my new Storm 2 is not cooperating!

Hi,

I believe that with OS 4.7 that was possible, but I don't know if it works with the later 5.0.  I have not tried it, perhaps some of the others have and can comment.

Are you pushing the BB Menu key when you finish and then save?

Yes Doc it works on my S1 with 5.0.0.419

It should work in a similar way on the S2.

It works the same on the S1(4x or 5x OS) and S2.  If yours is not saving I don't know what the problem would be, sorry.
