PRL Version

Hi,

Someone sent me a Private Message asking how to tell which version of PRL you have on your Blackberry device.  Dial #4357* and press Send and it will display some information about your phone.  The PRL version is part of the way down that list.  I believe right now, the range (depending on where you live) is from 51910-51926.  Mine, in Mississippi, is 51926.  You can always make sure you have the latest PRL by dialing *228 and using option 2. 

You might ask, Doc, what the heck is a PRL.  It stands for Preferred Roaming List.  For more information, go to http://www.roamingzone.com/prl/ and they give a good description.  I hope this helps some of you.
