I've got a Blackberry Bold 9650 and a Plantronics 245 bluetooth headset. When I turn on the headset and receive the first call, the volume on the phone is very low. After I turn up the volume, it stays there for subsequent calls. If I turn off the headset and turn it back on, the volume is low again.
This happens every time. I can't adjust the volume before the first call and I can never hear the first few seconds of the call because I have to manually turn up the volume. Is there any way to fix this?

Unfortunately there is not an option on the Plantronics 245 Bluetooth headset that will allow you to adjust the volume before taking a call for the first time after powering on the device.

I just bought a BlackBerry Curve 2 and am having similar issues with my 520 Plantronics bluetooth device. The volume on ALL calls is very low and can not be increased, either on the phone or on the Bluetooth device. This is a safety issue, hands free devices are the law in many states and towns, if hands free doesn't work then the phone is useless. When is the patch coming out to fix this issue?

I have the jawbone icon and the Blackberry Bold. I have had the Tour and also the Curve 8530 You can't adjust the volume unless you are on a phone call.
Hope this helps
