I have an odd problem. Actually, 2 of them. First, it intermittently will stop "previewing" ringtones when I'm setting profile options. It migth do it for a few of them, then it just stops. I can select one, and it will behave correctly function-wise, but it's weird. A reboot usually fixes this. But it gets old.
Second is the led, which I've grown accustomed to blinking when I get emails or messages. That's how I know I had something when I return to my desk. Now all of a sudden, it doesn't seem to be working long enough. It begins blinking like it should, then just stops after some period of time.
I thought I'd be smart and reload os 4.5.0.175, but after I got it all back up and running and reconfigured, it's still doing it.
Is there some settings that I'm missing somewhere?

Dan I use BerryBuzz.You can set different colors and lenth of time for color to blink. Quite inexpensive. Get it at crackberry dot com .

Thanks for that info, but
1) it's a problem that I'm trying to solve where it WAS doing okay and then stopped doing okay, and
2) doesn't address the ringtone problem.
An add-on app to control it, while I'm sure it works just fine, isn't really a solution.
One added really quirky note: it all of a sudden seems to be working more or less better now. I didn't do anything. The gremlin must have gotten scared off, lol. I expect it will be back, though, and I'm just waiting for it.
