Push email on a cruise?

Im on a cruise with carnival and i was wondering how im being charged for data. Im not getting on the internet but does my push email service count and how much is it costing me? Are they charging me for every email or just data in general?

More than likely, you'll be paying data roaming charges which can get to be quite expensive on a cruise ship.
