Question about message alerts and the mute button

For some reason, my phone has been playing music from either 1) my media files that i have downloaded to my phone or 2) the Slacker Radio app i downloaded - this has been happening both randomly and when i receive text messages...i don't know if it has something to do with the mute button on the top of the phone or not, but I would like to know what's up...Any ideas?

Hello, hey have you checked to see if you have any apps open, because if you have media or slacker open then mute will pause and play if triggered? The other you said about random, so do you get it "at of" no were? Without opening? Also you can check open apps by pressing and holding the menu button? Okay so you have no apps open when this happens then it maybe could be a bug, slacker download or something else that might of brought this? Try and remember the last time this happened, if maybe after just app download it could be that, try in delete. Test smart phone for awhile? Everything good redownload? Not good gonna need a security wipe ! Right now I have slacker radio after deleting last week cuas it had a bug or something was up? Runs good now? pandora got deleted yesterday I had to do a security wipe, my screen turned white with letters saying app error 523 reset so I had to do a battery pull! After that phone was not the same! I'm replying on storm right now and its working great!!! Try security wipe?

JCM how do you get your password and log in ID to work on your Storm so you can reply on here? I have done the magnification of the log in ID and password boxes, but sometimes it will not take? Do you know a simpler way like a permanent log in?

try in use internet browser or put in zip code ? I have add page to bookmarks it will auto choose I'd browser.

L Cromwell I don't now what answer do you want but I told you how I did it by entering zip code and add to bookmarks uhm I do have a community I'd ? So when you sign in where does it take you ?

 I have a community ID also, but my main question is; have you found a way, a setting, to keep you logged in for a while thru the Storm? I also assume none of the font and Bold settings are available using Storm?

I don't think there's a setting for sign in for all day but you can stay signed in till you sign out ! Your right it does not have font, bold only attachment.
