This is just a general question about upgrading that can go in any support section, but since I'm new I figured I'd follow the phone that I have. Recently, my Curve 9330 is starting to act up and I'm getting curious about my upgrade. I know Verizon axed the "new every 2" last year (Jan., 2011), however, I signed my contract for this phone back in October 2010. Does that mean I still get one last early upgrade? I am the only person on my account and I'd like to get a new phone before this one completely dies out on me.

Your plan also had to be a certain dollar amount before it could qualify for the annual upgrade option. I know my 450 minute plan didn't meet the minimum.
Does your online My Verizon account say that you have an upgrade available?

That's the plan I have so I guess I'm not going to get the upgrade either. It says 6/19/12 is my upgrade date. I was also asking because my brother is also a VZW customer with a different account than mine but out accounts are identical (meaning 450 mins, txting plan, unlimited data package). He upgraded in 16 months, which was Nov., 2011, and my 16th month is coming up in Feb., so that also made me wonder. Thank you though!

If you had the talk and text plan, you might be eligible.
If your texting plan was a separate add-on then your plan is not large enough in cost.
