Hey everyone, first time here.  I have a question about BBs.  How does the BBs handle receiving animated .GIF w/Audio file MMS?

Hi,

Welcome to the forums.  I do not believe the Blackberry can handle animated GIF files at this time.

Really?  I have posted this question in a couple of other forums so I can get multiple answers and see what they all say.  The ones I've received thus far say they get the pics but, something was up about the audio.

Hey,

I was referring to Blackberry's list of files that can be played found here.  Look and see, but I did not see it listed.

I think the reason why you're not seeing it on that list is because it appears that those are the formats for the media app...which I believe is for the music, video playback, etc.  It doesn't list any picture file extensions at all.  I could be wrong but, I think that may be the reason.
