I recently purchased a song from V Cast Music Rapsody. When i tried to make the song a ringtone, the phone stated that the music is "protected." I have other songs that i personally downloaded onto my phone that i can use for ringtones. Ungfortunately, for some reason paying $1.99 for a song doesn't grant permission to use as a ringtone. Has anyone had this issue? How was it resolved?

VCast songs you purchase CAN'T be used as a ringtone. There's nothing to "fix" it as it's functioning as designed. The $1.99 you pay for songs only lets you play them on the device. Solution? Learn to download your own music for free and convert those into ringtones.
