Does anybody know if my BB Storm SIM card will work on another Verizon phone with a SIM card port? I can't stand my Storm and want to switch phones with out canceling my plan.

The SIM card has nothing to do with keeping your number and activating the HTC TouchPro 2. As the poster mentioned above, VZW uses SIM cards to allow you to access foreign GSM networks. VZW doesn't store your mobile number or your personal contacts on the SIM card as GSM carriers like AT&T do.
So yes, you can activate the HTC phone and keep the same mobile number. Just keep the SIM card in the Storm in case you ever want to use it again or resell it.

The SIM card is used for when you go overseas. It kinda gets "unlocked" so you can still use the Verizon service. If you had an old Verizon phone, you can switch over to your old phone or another Verizon phone and it won't extend/cancel your service/contract.

I realize this post is solved. But just letting you know, you can COPY your contacts to the Storm SIM card. Highlight the contact's phone number, click menu> copy to SIM Phone Book.

I wish there was a way to copy all at one time to the sim card instead of one at a time.
