Last night, this error code popped up: Uncaught exception: Index 17 > = 17
My phone froze.
I removed my battery for 30seconds reinstalled battery and turned on.
The same code popped up: Uncaught exception: Index 17 > = 17 then I depressed "OK" and the error message went away but so did my SMS key/button/icon.
I looked everywhere and nothing is hidden.
I followed the steps from a previous post and when I touch "Messages" and berry button to get menu, I do see options. I click on that and Home Screen Prefrences comes up. I do not see General Options.
When I try to text from my contacts book, the text suspends and just sits there.
I can send and retreive e-mails but NOT send nor receive texts.
I've been on hold with Verizon for 18minutes now. This is my 2nd attempt calling.
I appreciate any assistance you can offer.
