Hey all.
I have heard about other countries, but just this morning around 6:45CST, our BB's stopped functioning (cannot send/receive mail, web browser not working).
????
Email has been down all morning - cannot send or receive - web browsing works fine
RIM - time to explore alternatives before we all switch to Android/iOS
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
About 10 minutes ago I got a slew of emails - but some did not come through (checking against what's on my computer). And it seems to have dried up again. Technology is wonderful, when it works.
And reading the article, it confirms this:
BlackBerry subscribers in the Americas may be experiencing intermittent service delays this morning. We are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and we apologize to our customers for any inconvenience. We will provide a further update as soon as more information is available.
Well that explains it!
Has anyone's blackberry been turning on and off because of this?
Last night my phone restarted 5 times and finally I just took the battery out for the night.. is anyone else's doing that?
What about Android service. I have the Samsung Charge and I do not have data service as of this morning.

I haven't seen mine restart or turn on and off, but then, I was sleeping! Mine is normally shut down and charging overnight, face down, so even if it did restart I would not see. Email seems to be working this morning too.
@ ggyarmati - It's RIM that is affected, and Blackberry services...anything happening with your Android phone is unrelated to the Blackberry problems.
