I've had several shortcuts appear on my desktop and I am looking for help in how to delete them. Most recently it was Bing and Verizon Videos. I've also had Vzw Tones, Flickr, YouTube and more. I also have icons for Windows Live Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, Google Talk, Slacker Radio - none of which I've downloaded - that I can't remove. Can anyone give me instructions on how to delete these shortcuts?

I think you can just barely touch app you want to remove then push BB Menu and there should be a delete in it to push. I would back it up first, in Desktop mgr. in case you ever want it back.

There is no delete option on any of these when I highlight shortcut and go the BB menu.

You can arrange your desktop almost anyway you like. If i were you I would just organize. Place all your IM clients in the instant messenger folder and other random applications like Bing and others in the application folder. You don't actually have those applications until you download them so they just sit dormant until you do anything with them. They are on there b/c VZW pushes them to your phone OTA. It's not a big deal. To move icons around, just highlight them or put your selector over them and hit your bb button (spotted button) to move to another folder, around your desktop, or hide. Any more questions, let us know.

So what if you really want to delete them? Anyone know how to get rid of the icon without hiding or rearranging it?
Thanks.

Hi,
As Lowflyer stated in his previous post, the icons are pushed automatically to your Blackberry. You can not delete the icons. The icons as just web icons that do not take up any memory or room to speak of on your device, unless you click on one and download the corresponding app and install it. The best thing is just to create a folder on your application screen and move the icons to there and have them out of sight.
